Rivals top 150 shows him committed to Florida. Not surprising at all that he is staying in his home state.

I would rather have Josh Perkins, not that that matters. Hope he comes to visit.

Francis is more of a SG and we already have 2 5 star shooting guards in Hamilton and Purvis. Replacing Shabazz is my biggest concern and that's why Perkins needs to be a priority. I really hope we can get him on campus this weekend.

So if Perkins is pushing for a KenSucky offer, do you think he's thinking One & Done?

I think 90% of the 5 star kids are thinking one and done. The smart ones come to their senses and stay a couple years if they get good advice.

Nah, c'mon. UConn would never recruit a kid who's considering only one year of school.

Probably so, but not all. Do we think Ollie is ok with One & Done? I think Ollie enjoys developing them basketball & life wise. I don't get the feeling that Hamilton is rushing to get to the NBA after one year. I mean he could, but its not obvious before he steps on campus. Often you can get a good feel before a recruit shows up he's One & Done. ie. Noel, Selby, Wiggins, Randle, the Harrison's. etc.

I think Ollie and Jim Calhoun have the same philosophy with the one-and-done: I'm sure they'd both prefer 2-3 year studs, but when an Andre Drummond fell into their laps, they didn't hesitate to clear a spot for him.

I agree. Drummond was a special situation. Obviously, he grew up in CT (Middletown) and was a big fan of UConn. I would have been surprised if he didn't go to UConn. I think if UConn had been eligible for the NCAA tournament this year, he may have come back since his Freshman year wasn't what he & everyone else was expecting. Plus he seemed to really enjoy being at UConn, at least publicly. Oh what could have been...

If Drummond stayed another year he would be the #1 pick in this draft. Either way he had a great first year in the NBA and his future is bright. A potential all-star

Exactly, it seems he made the right choice. He certainly proved the doubters wrong.

Rudy or CV could have been one and dones, too., when he signed them. Perhaps Caron, too. And we certainly didn't think Bynum would be a none-and-done.

LOL - None & Done. I love it.
