Thanks, I was thinking it was about time for this thread recently.

Some of the conference are deeper into their schedule than others. I'm not sure if anyone has hit 10 conference wins yet, but I think a few of these have 9 already.

Well I was wrong. Today Green Bay improved to 12-0 and Fairfield and Quinnipiac both moved to 11-0. UConn also 11-0.

As noted in the B1G thread, IN and Penn St are 0-9 and 0-10 respectively and don't play each other until the final conference game for both, when they could each be 0-17, unless one of them stumbles into a win prior to that.

Dude, you asked if they were the worst, I gave you 4 other pitiful programs including PSU who is 0-10 along with Rutgers 1-9 and have you looked at the remaining schedules? NW still has 4 ranked teams and Illinois plus Indiana left so I proudly stand by my decision. I am now officially only rooting for them to do Eastern version of the Huskies….

Valpo is still perfectly imperfect overall at 0-22. Can they actually reverse run the table?

Indiana gets off the schneid with their first conference win against Northwestern. Up huge early, nearly blew it, then recovered.

.-.
Houston also notches their first conference win, edging Cincy 72-70. They led most of the way, coughed up the lead but hit a buzzer beater 3 for the win.

edit--Kyndall Hunter has gone from Texas, to Texas A&M, to Houston. She keeps downgrading with each transfer. Not much lower she can go, although there are probably dozens of low majors in Texas. She has stayed in state anyway.

I am actually pretty impressed that 18 teams are still undefeated in conference play. While I do think there is some parity due the depth of more quality players, what @Vowelguy is proving is the Mid-Majors have some good coaches who maximize their talent vs. their peers. Some of these coaches are known commodities like Trisha Fabbri at Quinnipiac or Tammi Reese at Rhody, some are certainly up and comers to keep an eye on.

I was impressed with Louisville and see why they remain undefeated. Well-balanced and deep team....
