Penn State getting ripped on the road, 55-36 @ 7:00. Remember when they used to be good?

Why are they so bad? Washington seemed to be an up and coming coach and suddenly they are really really bad...

Good energy, but questionable game skills. Weak defense tonight. Lack of depth. Now 0-4. Rutgers is up next.

Watched the game on BTN. To me it's guard play. They have good size in the paint but weak in the back court on offense and defense. Brianna Banks should help them tremendously.

A couple of pretty good guards, Lucas and Bentley, are fairly recent graduates. Clearly they haven't been adequately replaced. I agree Brianna will be very productive for them next year.

their post play is bad too, they are 2 or 3 years from being respectable

Banks will help plus they signed two consensus top-25 guards in the class of 2015, Teniya Page and Amari Carter. The posts are lower ranked, but have good size at 6'4 (Jaylen Williams) and 6'5 (Ashanti Thomas). Hard to win with kids (see UCLA) but they should be more respectable next year.
