After rewatching this game a few more times w/slow motion here are a few thoughts:
1) East(#5) could have been call for 15 fouls. It was clearly her job to make as much contact as often as possible with Steff and Brianna. She was basically allowed to smack them both around at will! Clearly Penn St.'s game plan was to make as much contact as possible even during free throws.
2) Kiah is always in good reboinding position. She needs to get more comfortable with the ball.
3) There were a huge number of bad passes by several huskies in this game .
4) Horrible offensive foul call on KML at 17:06 mark. Lucas is back pedalling and making contact. Just to name one!
5) Banks was terrific with the ball! She made great decisions scoring when open, and some great passes off penetration. She also played solid defense.
My guess is this game will serve huskies well in the long run.
