That indeed was the plan, but his plans changed at the last minute and it did not get communicated to everyone on a timely basis. LOL - happens all the time with NBA players, only with some casual fan posters here - is it a big deal or unusual.

The exhibition happened last year based on the Cooley and KO relationship and the timing of the Houston and Puerto Rican hurricanes. Quite frankly, in my mind at least, it was uncertain how things would fall into place. It’s still unclear to me if a charity has been named and approved by the NCAA. As usual, the certain winner is Mohegan. The casino always wins.
