Good, I feel like we needed new blood on our staff but Patrick Sellers is a good guy and I thought he got a raw deal, he took a bit of a bullet for us.

A bit? Hard to say exactly what happened but it seems he got screwed.

I don't exactly know how everything went down, it did seem like he got screwed but he has always maintained that he is okay with what happened and holds no ill will, he still loves UConn.

Yeah I'd agree with that he took his pinch like a champ. I hope he takes over for Howie at Central.

Supposedly he was in the locker room celebrating with the team after the 2011 championship game.

He didn't take a bullet for UConn. The NCAA screwed up his case. He was asked about the phone calls, and his res[onse was interpreted as a lie. On appeal of his sanction, the NCAA agreed with him that his answers were misinterpreted and it removed the sanction not only from Sellers but from UConn's docket as well. In other words, an NCAA investigator took his answer out of context, twisted it, applied it to a question he wasn't answering, and presented it as a lie.
