Can't say I am surprised....the pass game has not flourished here and you knew there will be some changes this winter.

Hopefully his next stop is not too far around the bend. I think we all want to see the home state guys to grow and thrive.

And I was thinking that was Pat Collins when it was posted. Forgot he was Executive Director.

I think the fact that he wasn't the TE coach but the passing game coordinator (not a strength of the offense) created a issue for him with coaching changes based on the limited amount of spots

Unfortunately Marinelli did not have the impact on state recruiting that would have been hoped for. Was surprised we did not get a serious look from Drew Pyne. Mora is not messing around.

I keep reading comments like this, CT has never been area of too much focus. You have to kick the tires on the best players, and try to get some of the next tier guys comparable to kids they land from other areas. The Jackson Mitchell types, Vic Rosas etc.

Definitely think he can coach - just need the right set up. Right now its Charlton's offense- his cooking.

Sucks, but he’ll land somewhere nice. He’s a good coach and a decent recruiter. And going. He’s got plenty of time to get into the right situation for him and his family.

The position was an invented luxury we can't afford. His resume shows increasing levels of responsibility and monetary consideration, he will be fine going forward. Hopefully the monies will now be used for a DC. Thanks coach.
