On QB Whitmer,Uconn coach Pasqualoni says "he really showed some poised." Like this toughness, too.#
Desmond Conner desmondconner@
"PaulPasqualoni says WR Tebucky Jones Jr. is working hard didn't rotate much this past weekend but Jones is next up to get in."@
Chris Elsberry elsctpost@
Pasqualoni: "DT Shamar (Stephen) will go this week, I'll say he's questionable, but we'll see."
Ed Daigneault EdDaigneault@
PP coy on Ted Jennings: "The trainers know what they're looking for and they're looking for that." Well, OK.
Jeff Jacobs @jacobscourant
Pasqualoni: "There's a couple plays [McCombs] could have helped himself a bit. But it's a team thing.

There are two ways for P and George to succeed on Saturday. The first is that the offense becomes a big play offense. The odds of that are stratospheric. The second is that the offense simplifies, takes what it can get, doesn't turn the ball over and lets the defense win us the game.
Nice to know that George and P are focused on the solution with winning the lottery odds, rather than the one they could actually hope to pull off on Saturday.

Professor Terguson: Is she right? 'Cause I know that's the *popular* version of what went on there. And a lot of people like to believe that. I wish I could, but I was *there*. I wasn't here in a class room, hoping I was right, thinking about it.
Not as diplomatic as usual, but I like the way you think.
Big play for the opposing d
Do you believe the outcome of last Saturday's game would have been the same if the turnover differential was zero?I disagree with the concept of conservative offense and letting a defense win the game for you.

Answer honestly please.

Our offense so far has managed to be frighteningly complex, and yet still conservative.
