Tokyo time made it difficult to see what you wanted to see....live.
In Paris: their prime-time events will be mid-afternoon here in the east. Afternoon events over there will be mid-morning here.
Good 'times'

More good times to be expected for the USA women's team...and Gabby!
I would assume Gabby will be a key member of the French team...entering her hoop prime...playing before home crowds.
I'd love to see her play great in a gold medal game against the USA...lose a competitive game late...and beam her smile through
her disappointment.

And...perhaps unrealistically...I'd love to see Paige:
Make the team.
Be in the regular rotation.
Have the ball in her hands late to make the crucial decisions...pass or shoot...with the confidence of her coaches and teammates that she will do the right thing.

Truth is: with some good luck regarding health...the coaching she will be receiving in the capital of college hoops...and with her unparalled work ethic..I do not think that is all that 'unrealistic'.

Going for 8 in a row in Paris...go USA!

Can Hartley and Williams both play for France?
No. According to FIBA rules, a team can only have one naturalized citizen. So Les Bleues would have to choose...
