Apparently there is a post on X by Luka Doncic that is pertinent here. (I assume that most Boneyarders know who he is -- he is a star guard for the Los Angeles Lakers, playing alongside Lebron James.) He was asked by an interviewer who his favorite WNBA player is, and he said "Caitlin Clark". Then the interviewer asked him about Paige, and he said something to the effect that she is "OK", but he hasn't seen her play yet in the W. Then the interviewer pointed out that Paige plays in Dallas (from which Luka was recently traded). That reinforced Luka's already skeptical view of Paige's abilities, apparently.

Wild guess here. Doncic does not follow the WNBA and the only player he heard of is Caitlin Clark.

Curt Miller has announced that Paige will be load managed in her freshman season.

I know this is a Paige thread, but its the closest thing to an WNBA thread.
On a sad note, its been reported that Georga Amore has torn her ACL in a Mystics practice. That is tough, because I think she had a chance to make the team. Just like Nika, fine in college, injured before her pro career begins. I know Nika was in Seattle, but her first game overseas did her in. Wish Georga the best of luck with her rehab.

said she was expected to play...game at 7:00. It is being televised by "ION".

For what it’s worth. The game can be watched tonight on ION TV, which is a channel that is carried by a number of streaming services. I can view it on Tubi, a free streaming service that comes with my Roku package.

I have Hulu live tv with Roku, so I can pick up ION also. I also heard that there is free WNBA league pass for the exhibition games, at least for this weekend.
