A cursory search of the 'net seems to indicate that this has been culled from the reports that Lopez-Senechal is sitting out this season, rumors of there being friction between Arike and Paige, and last year's reports that Paige was sitting out the season.

I haven't clicked on it and won't - it makes zero sense. IF she were to "decide" she doesn't want Dallas and would rather sit out a year than play for them, 2 things. First, it still wouldn't stop them from drafting her if they so chose, and second, just come back for another season instead of sitting out and doing nothing.

I'm not sure how long a team "holds" the rights to a player they drafted even if they don't play. So if she really didn't want to go there, she could end up sitting out multiple years which would be a total waste. I almost wish someone would delete this thread since the original video is obviously not a credible source.
