The link between sports and entertainment is obviously in play when Paige shows up on daytime or nighttime talk shows. That’s why I feel that the LA Sparks not getting the 1st pick in the lottery probably cost Paige a few million dollars.

Yea, that’s nice if you’re only earning the WNBA rookie salary of $76,535. But the sheer opportunity for Paige to leverage her position in the W with tie-in marketing opportunities in a media capital like LA, whether it’s Hollywood or entertainment, could be worth millions. Those opportunities are likely not available in Dallas, making the difference in taxes and housing costs insignificant.
