Paige & Liv are among 20 players listed on the Wooden Award late season watch list released today. Paige is the only freshman on the list.

UConn's Paige Bueckers is the only freshman on the Wooden Award late-season top 20 list for women's college basketball, which was released Monday.

Six players were removed from the midseason top 25 released in early January, while Oklahoma State senior Natasha Mack, the nation's leading shot-blocker (4.2), was included for the first time this season.

Two other programs have two players on the list: UConn (Bueckers and Olivia Nelson-Ododa) and Stanford (Haley Jones, also a sophomore, and Kiana Williams).

What is her percent against say Arkansas or SC or Baylor (when we play those guys)
I’m not disputing your contention that Liv may not merit inclusion on the late season Wooden Watchlist. I would make the argument that Evina belongs on the list.

I pointed out Liv’s shooting percentage, as a potential reason why she was included. Liv was 1/2 vs Arkansas and did not impact the game significantly. Since we’ve talking about this year, Baylor is no longer relevant to the discussion. We will see how Liv does vs SC in a few weeks.

Cherry picking one game and 2 fantasy games. Just as easy to ask how Boston played against NCSt? If you focus on negatives then the list gets real short quickly.
Exactly!

Liv was 50% against Arkansas and 100% [0/0] vs the others, eh?

I have no problem with them listing 50 names. It makes a bunch of families pleased as punch and no one else remembers it 2 months later.

For what it’s worth, Liv is 2nd in the nation in FG %.
Duly Noted, and again, why Liv? That can also be said about Rennia Davis, Arella Guirantes, Rickea Jackson, Natasha Mack, Naylussa Smith, Kiana Williams.

So maybe not enough good players to make the list..is that what you mean? You might be right..

Olivia doesn't belong on this list at all. If things don't change with her being an AA shouldn't happen either.
