Paige is One Up on Maya

Paige did something that Maya did not do in her Freshman year.......She won the MOP of the Big East Tournament MOP. Charde Houston was the 2008 MOP in UConn's Big East Tournament title win. Congrats to Paige on winning the MOP and hope that she can earn at least one more after winning the Championship game in San Antonio.

PB has a shot at NC this season and a better shot next season with arrival of Fudd. Time will tell.

I do not expect UConn to win every NC. That would be unrealistic. Only hope UConn plays their best and has fun playing every March Madness.

Several of BYers place Maya (2 NC) behind Taurasi (3) and Stewart (4) on UConn Mount Rushmore. To be consistent, PB has to win at least 2 NC to surpass Maya.

UConn FF streak started with arrival of Maya. She is all over UConn record books for season and career statistics. See pages 65 and 66.
