Sorry for your position.... Unrealistic positions are more fun to propose, and continue the thought of overcoming all odds, and are the seed for achieving the seemly impossible comeback win. Once you achieve one of those, you believe you can do it again. It reminds me of a volleyball match in the Orlando Area Final Four [back in the "Dark Ages" when I was not 'gravitationally challenged' for qualifying tournament for the South Atlantic Regionals] when we were down 13 match points [pretty sure there is NOT a common name for that because it doesn't happen often] in a best of three game match where we had lost the first game 15-3, and was down 14-1 in the second game to the #1 seed who had beaten us twice during the regular season, so I called time-out. I calmly told the team [kind of like CD after being down by 10 in the Creighton game], "We are better than this. Play each serve as the only point that matters, and stay inside yourself. Don't try to win the match with every hit. We got this..." [I was the player-coach at the time, and needed to listen to myself as I spiked the last one out the back by six inches on the previous play...] Back in those dark ages, the game was not rally point scoring, so you could only score when it was your serve. We got the side out after the time out on a block, and only lost serve twice after getting the ball back on their very next serve to pull even at 14-14, went 15-14, then 16-14 on our next two serves to force our first 3rd game against them all year. With the #1 seed arguing and pointing finger at each other we beat them 15-1 in the third game as we finally found our groove. We only had five points scored on us for the rest of the tournament following that time-out, and qualified for the South Atlantic Regionals for the second time in two years. Moral of the story: You have to believe that you can do it, before you can do it! I believe the Huskies will make the Final Four after finding "their Groove" in the Regional Finals, and take their momentum to the National Finals to win NC #12. Optimism has always been a strength for me. Not ready to throw in the towel until after the final whistle to end the Final Match. That is the cool thing about making the Finals, BOTH Teams know it is the last game of the year, and the season is ending: win or lose, so why NOT win? I am in favor of winning! Go Huskies!!!!
