Who would have the authority to negotiate a deal that covers both ESPN and HULU with the P-12 prior to the transaction being completed? What exactly does the P-12 do if we reach bowl season and they don't have a contract? Someone will blink and I can't see us getting to the end of September without the first person blinking.
