I always thought he did a good job, he’s the only voice I’ve known going to games. It’ll be a little weird without him, especially at football games

Congratulations on your retirement and a great career. John saw a lot of wins over the last 20 years. I remember the guy before he took over, It was obvious UConn had a new PA guy because Johns voice is drastically different than his predecessor. I wonder who will take over? Maybe Joe Dambrosio??

Up until a few years ago, John would do Wesleyan basketball games on nights where there wasn't a UConn game. Hearing him one night in front of a sold out, 15k fan, ranked UConn MBB matchup at XL then 100 friends and family members at Wesleyan WBB the next was really funny.
