Haven’t read yet but President’s and ADs are political animals and not business people and are terrible at figuring out who has leverage and are scared of their own inability to replace coaches.

In short - they are too scared to make hard decisions so they make easy ones.

This phenomenon kills me. Diaco should have never sniffed an extension after a 6-7, year. A school like uconn is better off letting a coach walk or letting him get closer than walking rather re-signing early. If he's that good you probably can't keep him here no how.
