I don't completely disagree with this post. First of all, it's not a problem for a rookie coach to get outcoached by Rick Pitino; no need to get all riled up about that. KO is a great coach and will continue to be one, but he is not beyond rebuke and does not need to be protected by us. I'm sure he'll be the first one to say he got outcoached tonight if only to deflect the blame from his players. We all know he's been phenomenal thus far.
Second, I just didn't see any adjustments during that ten minute span where we were essentially lifeless. Certainly, the majority of this falls on the players: Louisville was fresher than us and was playing outstanding defense; our guards were getting frustrated; and a cycle was born. Still, when things are going that badly, you have to try something different, and I just didn't see it.
