Maybe it's due to lack of sleep due to last night's abysmal melodrama. Warde is losing the fans with the current regime in place. It's obvious that a palace coup is on the horizon for next season. He can't hire a coach that's been put out to pasture (i.e. Pat Hill). The fan base will be up in arms if he hires an unknown up & comer. The satisfy to masses, he brings back a beloved former Husky & keeps his fingers crossed. The 2014 UConn Huskies will be head coached by Dan Orlovsky.
Warde is a Michigan alum: He believes that Michigan should be coached by a Michigan man & applies this theory in CT. Heaven help us.

good theory excdpt for the part about a Michigan man coaching Michigan. Bo went to Miami of Ohio, Moeller to Ohio State, Carr Missouri, Rich Rod WestVirginia and Brady Hoke is a Ball State alumnus. But aside from that problem it is a really good theory...

As I've been saying for a while (over the usual insults from PP and Admininstrstion backers), you have small time folks all the way from the top down. Herbst is not focused on football and has no football DNA. She has never been a President of a football school let alone any school of relevance (note - I say President, not dean or assistant).

Warde is a second rate AD from a second rate sports university, Buffalo.

PP is an old tired coach and was fired from his last college HC job.

What we have observed in overall program demise comes from a cadre of incompetence and inexperience. I find it utterly disgusting. If you want to best among the best you go out and get the best. This has been violated in each and every case.

Been saying this for a year. While I get Herbst being focused on other things, she really needs to have an AD who is top notch if she is going to leave it all in his hands. Warde's claim to fame is he got a new logo at Buffalo. Since he has already accomplished that here. maybe he can go and pretend he has done something.
