This board is all over the map in regards to what to do with the size of the league (stay at 10 or go to 12 or 14). Many are saying that staying at 10 is ideal so we have 9 conference and 3 out of conference. The problem is we have no idea what is going on with our AD in regards to scheduling or not scheduling games. I think the main problem is that as leagues expand and as they move to more in conference games to generate new rivalries, it puts us in a position to schedule the MAC's Sun Belts, and MWC of the world. They are forcing those teams (like us) into games that will not generate the revenue or interest that will sustain D1 football at a clip that will get us out of this league. The rumors of these super leagues splintering off from the NCAA is upon us. Let us hope that Warde has a trick up his sleeve. I don't want us to be considered the "Gonzaga" of the east. We have paid our dues since the Big East's inception.
