Out of bounds plays and free throws

As a watcher of BB, it seems that UConn is dreadful on out of bounds plays. I am probably wrong, but it seems as if other teams don't have quite the difficulty UConn does in getting the ball in play from under their own basket.

Is that because UConn is always looking for the "home run" dunk at the basket and when it is not there time becomes an issue?

And what is with the free throw debacle?

The only reason this game got to overtime is because Villanova couldn't inbound the ball themselves under their own basket.

Free throws were another story. You live with the big guys missing, you can't live with Napier/Boatright/Lamb missing as many as they did last night.
