MoJett at .511

Kaleena is at .498

Both are amazing shooters.

K has 109 treys. She's 9 short of the UConn season record, which she set as a sophomore. She's 18 short of the NCAA season record, set by Kelsey Mitchell tonight. Hopefully, K has 4 more games.

...and she's 7 short of the NCAA career record, needs to average 1.75 per game to break it (assuming 4 more games)

I think I am in the ballpark on MoJet's trey stats here. Her frosh year...around 25%.
First third of her soph year...about the same. Last 2/3 of her soph year...over 50%..leading
to an overall trey percentage for the year a bit over 40%. Now...a touch over 50% for this year?

Triple [pun intended] yikes! She certainly is not a volume trey shooter but her ability to hit that shot
sure ups her [and our] entire game. Is there any other reason than 'confidence' for her remarkable
longtime improvement? Her form looks the same.

I am hoping that Courtney will have such a moment and it will lead to her ability to hit face-up shots from
medium and deep range.

While confidence has a lot to do with it I'm guessing she spent tons of time in the gym between her freshman and sophomore years practicing the 3. Remember how the defense used to leave her wide open knowing that she wouldn't or couldn't make the 3? How times have changed.

Fair point Fifty. I remember reading that over the summer MoJet worked out in a 24/7 gym near her home
3 times a day. I believe one session was weights...another skills...another pick-up games against guys.

What a kid we have!
