If we win the title next year it will be because of this year. This year Emmert and company took their battleship and pointed all guns at us and our fearless leader was forced to retire due to health issues, when we had a mutiny of 2 of our starters and lost 2 underclassman to the NBA and an unproven coach was given a temporary contract which created its own challenges, all while the conference is destroyed and all our traditional rivalries are gone. I even personally lost my UConn game partner this year due to family issues(not dead just not here). Whole damn season was tough.
This success was driven by Kevin Ollie did riding these kids until their wheels fell off. Each of these kids grew so much maturity wise this year and responsibility wise this year. This would have killed most programs in most sports. Napier and Daniels will be amazing to watch if the team is in tact next year.
Thanks Husky family. If we keep our fire and support these guys we will survive to find new rivalries, and have great new experiences. I absolutely love Biel St.
