Nice to get a W this week and enjoy the rest of what's going on.

Temple 35 Maryland 14 - real nice win for them on the road
UAB 31 Tulane 24

Cuse 30 Florida St 7

Kansas 55 Rugters 14 - really Rutty?
- - -
USF 7 Illinois 16 - half
SMU 7 Michigan 21 - half
Navy 34 Lehigh 7 - 3rdQ
Houston 21 Texas Tech 21 - 3rdQ

Wisconsin lost. I’m another Aaron Rodgers injury from my football season being over in September.

Troy 24, Nebraska 19 - final

North Texas 44, Arkansas 10 (with 7 minutes left in the game)

USF 25, Illinois 19 - final

looks like Cincy's getting back to Cincy form - 35-0 2ndQ over Bama A&M

Houston 49 TX Tech 63 - final

As much as I’d love to make USF hurricane jokes - I have an Illinois season win under ticket so good comeback.

Taggart already on hot seat. $21m to buy him out + asst coach salaries (Taggart negotiated multi-year contracts for his staff).

LSU finds a way to beat Auburn. Watching that game immediately after UConn/URI was a sharp contrast in talent.
Auburn did not sellout. Top of upper deck and corners of stadium had plenty of empty seats.
Troy is going to have a tough time getting P5 games.

Joe Moorehead is a gosh darn wizard. I'm starting to think he's the best football coach on the planet.

and BTW you can tell he was paying attention to Don Brown in 2011. He brought that aggressive attack defense to Fordham and now Miss State has it.

Fresh off their loss to Maine, WKU up 14-3 on Louisville at the half.

FIU stomping on UMass. Maybe we’ll have a shot at one more win there.

Between Arkansas and Uconn, I'm not sure if i'll see 2 more wins the rest of the yr, and 2 is being generous.

How far has FSU fallen in perception?

SU, after throttling FSU, is still only middle/bottom of the pack in others receiving votes.

Jimbo left, ran out, of his own accord. That is all you need to know. Clemson is the new FSU and neither is Alabama or whatever the other team du jour is in the SEC.

Don't get me wrong, the middle/bottom of the SEC isn't better than any other conference just because they are in the SEC. The other P5 also-rans are as bad or worse. There are 2-3 programs in the SEC, 2 in the Big 10, 1 in the ACC/B12/Pac12 that are any good at any given time. Everyone else is everyone else just looking to catch lightning in a bottle.

The G5 spot is a battle between the AAC champ and the best of the rest.
