Nobody eats at that restaurant anymore, it's too crowded.

Yogi was a true American original. One of his sons used to come by the Boneyard from time to time. He was a Rutgers fan. One of his other sons played against UConn as a UMass WR.
RIP Yogi.

It not over until it's over.

Very sad to hear this. He was a classic!

Never won a conversation with the Aflac duck.

Yogi was a gem. great ballplayer, great personality. Actually saw him hit a home run my first game in Yankee Stadium back in 1961. It ain't over until it's over.

A lot of quotes were attributed to him or posed to him by sportswriters, but it doesn't matter. It's part of his legend. "I didn't really say everything I said."

Definitely the greatest I've ever known at original quotes... Yogi-ism(s) should be a word in the dictionary as far as I'm concerned. RIP to a true Yankee. He and his wife are now at peace together. He never quite seemed like himself when she passed a few years back.

Ah, for some troubled people it's over even before it's over. Luckily for Yanks' fans, we're far more likely to experience Yogi once again in green pastures and ball fields versus bosox fans undeniably burning in hell. ;)
RIP Yogi!

"It's gettin' late early around here."

RIP, Yogi...

Was one of the greatest catchers in history and was known more for his quips later in life. My father told me he and Mickey Mantle were his two favorite players of all time and after seeing how he interacted with current Yankees and others I can see why.

May he rest in peace and God's team now has the best catcher ever on his team

A true American icon.

There will never be another Yogi.

RIP Lawrence Peter "Yogi" Berra.

The story with John Paul II is pretty funny - who knows if it's true.

The timing of passing on the 69th annv of his ML debut with the Pope rolling into NYC is quite a coincidence.
