OT: Yikes...a 16 year old wins an LPGA event!

Amateur Lydia Ko won the Canadian Open this weekend...an excellent field.
Born in South Korea....raised in New Zealand. Blew away the field on Sunday...won by 5.
Pretty amazing for a 16 year old. Not quite as amazing as the winner of this event last summer...
uhh...that would be 15 year old Lydia Ko....youngest winner ever on the tour.

The Real Deal! The low pro won $300,000. Wonder how long Lydia will stay amateur.

Perhaps even more impressive is that fact she now has played in 14 professional tournaments and has made the cut in every one. There are top ten players in the world who can't say that.

After this win Lydia is ranked #7 in the world!

Hope her parents and those close to her don't go crazy over her golfing skills
and push her in the wrong way....examples of youths going that way in many sports too numerous to mention.
