^^^^ This... like I said in the other thread, we will never be like Stanford. Their athletics endowment is larger than our entire university endowment.

Not saying we shouldn't try, but come one guys look at the money disparity.

Out of curiosity, does anyone believe that it is merely a coincidence that SH's first major objective has been to increase our endowment to a level where it will be somewhat similar to school we view as academic and athletic peers? Was her hiring a proven fund raiser merely a blind stab at something? Has the concerted effort of soliciting major donors for football specific funding merely a hunch?
