the championship game in the Frozen Four involved 2 teams which are located 8 miles from each other? perhaps a first for an ncaa championship game in any sport. the only one i can think of that would have involved closer schools, off the top of my head, would have been BC and BU in hockey, but don't know that they ever met in the final. good trivia question.
