What a coward. I'd suspend him for the first round of the playoffs. The guy just doesn't get it.
What a garbage play.
No blood, no foul. Please, it was a little NYC love tap.
He's going to get a big suspension, and he should, but I doubt there was any ill intent. I'd be shocked if he even knew who he elbowed. The man is a lunatic. He had just dunked, the crowd was loud and he got himself so fired up he lost all sense of what he was doing. I dont think he felt aggrieved by Harden or was trying to hurt him, he's just a mentally unstable dude.
Now, saying he didnt mean to hurt anybody is one thing, but it's worth asking whether the NBA should employ a guy with such a tenuous connection to reality.
Harden gets a pass, I don't care what he said to him. Artest has a history, I hope they throw the book at him. Wonder what Lamar Odom is thinking this morning.First of all it was not accidental. A man that big and strong could kill someone like that. Does Hardin own any of the responsibility? I love Hardin, but he is an agitator and MWP was having a day. It looked like he came up to MWP and it was probably a mano moment. Metta has many issues, with emotional stability being the biggest, and with Hardin talking to him , it may have set him off. In any event he deserves a strong suspension. The first round of the playoffs seems okay, but I say the rest of the season screw that crazy idiot.

Yes. Being down for a long period of time after getting elbowed in the back of the head by a 6'7" man is "Flop of the year." That's absurd.LOL Flop of the year!
Let'm play, not sure why anyone is surprised. He's been good the past few years compared to his earlier years in the league. It's the playoffs, it'd be stupid for the league to suspend him anymore than 2 or 3 games. I bet thats the last time Harden gets in another Laker player's face.

You sort of ignored the rest of my post there, but in response to this:Well he had to "sell" the hit. His sell would have made Vince McMahon proud.
