By most reports, the glacier already covers ATL.

I would bet that you won't be leaving until tomorrow morning/afternoon.

Almost no chance of leaving today if you're leaving from New England AND stopping in Georgia.

BDL has a pretty good record of staying open but this may be too much.

The only extensive shut down of BDL was a heavy Ice storm about 15 years ago.
They do a great job.
We actually flew to Logan and drove to BDL to get our cars. Winter travel could be so much fun. My only winter travel now is PHX to SJC (Cabo) We celebrate Christmas in Ct via FaceTime. Still did about 20,000 miles last year.

Worst drive of my life. We drove from New Hartford to Bradley the back way by the Resevoir. I have a 4x4 Dodge V8 Hemi and the ride with the little ones and wife was scary. The total trip was 16 hours. Nuts..Now in sunny weather with a bunch of people who surf and dont play basketball. It all comes out in the wash. :)

We always take that route from Woodbury. But never in the dark or bad weather.Through pleasant valley and over the Barkhamstead Dam.
For a desert dweller it's an awesome trip.In snow I could see that being a bear.
My wife hates driving on 84 and 91. If I drive no one will get in the car with me.
