If you haven't seen Frank Caliendo's impression of Morgan Freeman doing the Iverson Practice rant, check it out on YouTube. It is spot on and would make even Andy DuFresne laugh.

It really is quite amazing. Really demonstrates how impressions are not so much about the voice itself (although he got that down) but moreso about the mannerisms; the pause patterns, pverall rate, intonation patterns, phrasing and breath groups. I can do a MEAN Gordon Ramsey. Can't mimic the voice and accent, but I got his phrasing, intonation and rhythm down

pverall rate? Not busting you for the typo just not sure what you meant. Agree with your point though.

Overall rate meaning pacing, which works with the breath groups and pause patterns. More specifically, at the syllable/word level, when and how the person you're impersonating elongates certain vowels/syllables. But then also like I said, when and how long pauses occur between phrases also affects that overall rate.

"Suprasegmentals" or "prosody" are more technical, albeit esoteric terms
