OT: (Way OT) Bruce Webster passed the other day...

In 1984,Webster was the only coach in the country willing to take a flier on 7-6, 195# Manute Bol.
He was the coach at UB for 34 seasons, but his one year with Bol (84/85) saw the school's best record at 26 and 6.

I knew Bruce Webster back in the day and he was a funny, warm man. His basketball camp coaches included Rollie Massimino, not my favorite, and I even remember Walt Frasier showing up one day. RIP Bruce Webster.

Bruce was a really good man. I went to basketball camp as well and remember the experience fondly.
