MNF has gone from must watch TV to an after thought for me.
For me Sunday Night Football is a given. Easy way to end the weekend with something on in the background.
Thursday night is a nice way to start the weekend. I'm off most Fridays so no problem knocking back a few cold ones and starting the weekend.

NFL hasn't meant much of anything to me since the Jets kicked Pennington to the curb. I did have a brief moment of hoping that Pickett would do well so sports radio would stop thinking Rapistburger was Jesus, but they dumped Pickett. Was mildly interested In seeing how far Brady could go before Father Time dropped the bomb on him. But otherwise, zero rooting interest and I still get Kelces shoved in my face regardless.

College FB is it until that's totally ruined.

I usually watch on Sunday nights and then Thursday nights. Monday nights are a crap shoot. Tonight, I'll watch baseball and maybe tune in once in a while to watch MNF with Giants and Steelers.

As others have said, I'm not as interested in the pro game as I used to be. If I'm going to watch, it's on Sunday night. And even then, I'm watching passively...

I barely watch the night games anymore. 4:00 games are the best. Plenty of time in the morning and early afternoon to get stuff done, dinner at halftime, throw a show on after and go to bed before 10:30/11.

Maybe I'm just getting older but 9/10 times when I stay up and watch one of the night games until the end, I regret it the next morning. Not just because I'm tired but because it wasn't even that enjoyable to watch.

I was not a fan of Thursday Night football at first, but now I’m more likely to watch that than MNF.

Thankfully I live in North Dakota so I'm not subjected to watching the Patriots be absolutely miserable. I usually watch the 1 pm and 4 PM game on Sundays. Thursday night I'll put on for background noise. I don't it just hasn't felt "fun" to watch in a while. It's feeling like it's way too predictable lately and that Kansas City absolutely is getting away with murder with the refs. There's some good games still, but not as much as there used to me

I don't usually care about the marquee evening games unless it's a team I care about (Patriots are my main team, but I also stump for the Titans and Bengals) or another team's season is on the line. Even watching regular Sunday games is pretty much just watching the Pats and then maybe checking the scores of everyone else.

UConn football has actually become so much more interesting to me since Mora joined, even with last year not being great. Just feels different. Like @DoctorWho85 mentioned, it just doesn't feel "fun" anymore. I cannot stand the Chiefs and the way everyone glazes up Mahomes constantly even when he's not even playing. It's so freaking obnoxious.

Agreed. And I can’t really describe why, but you know it when you see it. I expect every play to have a flag.
Interesting. My reasons are utterly different: Jagazz posturing of players, yammering of talking heads on moronic sports shows and during games, total absence of ownership loyalty to their fan bases, WWE-level of catering of every ancillary aspect of the sport to the LCD. I'm not looking for high tea with the vicar but it's all just really over the top for me; has sucked all of the enjoyment out of it.

I watched the ManningCast version of MNF last night, which shows a large screen of the game with small video feeds of Peyton/Eli/Guests all at different locations. It was very entertaining and made the game (one that I wouldn't care too much about) quite enjoyable. The first half was Peyton, Eli, and Bill Belichick. They'd break down plays before and after the snap and offered insight on adjustments both teams should be making based on what the opponent is doing etc. And some humor in there as well. Then they had Lawrence Taylor I believe in the 2nd quarter, LL Cool J in the 3rd, and Bill Cowher in the 4th qtr (but I was in bed by then).

Found their schedule (pasted below), I'll definitely tune in next week.

Week 9: Buccaneers at Chiefs (ESPN2, ESPN+)

Week 11: Texans at Cowboys (ESPN2)

Week 12: Ravens at Chargers (ESPN2)

Week 14: Bengals at Cowboys (ESPN2, ESPN+)

Wild Card Weekend: TBD (ESPN2, ESPN+)

I did learn last night that a catch in the nfl is not two feet down, it’s both feet down.

Can’t wait for the rules committee to clarify this off season. lol

Saw that play 10x. And every time I thought to myself, "Idiot, get the other foot down." As one of the announcers said, it seemed almost impossible to not get his foot down.
