With so little real information to dwell on I am paying more attention to the video clips of animals in the woods. I set up one of my cameras overlooking the fox den. These guys return every winter, have their kits, hang around a couple of months and then move on. This is one of the youngsters, now almost full grown.
The infra red lighting is invisible to them (and us) and it comes out as a black n white image - you do lose their cool red color
The family - there are 3 adults and 3 or 4 offspring - has several entrances to their den in this 'dry water course'. That big potato next to the fox is about 8' tall.
