As for UConn Football ... it wasn’t that long ago that the preseason Annual magazines regularly put us 85 to 105. Not top 70. But I’d say by year end, we were 45-60.

This is UCONN. We need to climb back into that Zone. And you have to have the mindset that we won’t suck forever. Laughable in 2018. But pieces and patience.

Tulsa just signed an 8 year deal with Oklahoma State, an equal amount of home games for each school.

I understand Aresco's excitement for scheduling P5 games. But Tulsa has played P5 teams (I'm also counting BYU, Boise and Notre Dame) a grand total of 6 times OOC over the past five seasons resulting in two bowl selections.

ECU and UConn have combined to play 26 P5+3 listed above in that same time span and have combined for a total of... two bowl games.

I'd rather see Aresco preach realistic scheduling than blindly lauding P5 opponents.
