OT - UK-Vandy

Close game, but Vandy getting jobbed. Their coach just picked up a T in the first half. I'll be shocked if he lasts the entire game.

If you can pull Davis away from the rim, they're not nearly as tough defensively. We'll need to see how Calipari adjusts in the tournament.

Was thinking the same exact thing, if anything this helps UK refocus and lets them know anyone can beat them. Vandy is a bad matchup for them, played two close games already. Senior lead, and UK can't switch off ball screens against Vandy like they can against most SEC teams so they were forced to hedge which seemed to throw them off for a good portion of the game. Still think Kentucky is the favorite to win the thing but certainly very beatable.

This in and of itself (the idea of all four #1 seeds coming off a loss) may place the winner of the B1G a 1 seed over Kansas.

They probably jump up to #3. It's hard to put them ahead of 2-loss teams like Syracuse and Kentucky. 5 to 1 would be a huge leap.

very good observation jorge and your right that if Vanderbilt's coach was any good this team should have blown out Kentucky. When you have a dominant post player like Ezeli, great perimeter players like John Jenkins and JeffTaylor, and not to mention that it seems almost all of their players are good to great drivers to the basket this Vandy team should have been a dominant team this year in the country.

Kentucky players are very overrated and not as talented as their recruiting rankings indicate. They are all role players in generals with the exception of Anthony Davis, and Darius Miller who is their best offensive player.

P.S. I have no problems being a 8 or 9 seed. Put us on Kentucky's side of the bracket so we can wipe the floor with them in the second round of the tournament. This is our time and UCONN is ready to play.
