My son and I were dropping off some Pex tubing to my cottage in Dayville (Alexander Lake) today to change the copper pipes that befoul us every year when we open the place.
We take Exit 69 (hehe) to 74, 44, 101 for Dayville.
Anyhow, on the way home we drove by Exit 68 eastbound around 11:15 am and traffic was starting to bunch up a bit at the off-ramp.
Flash forward to 12:30 pm heading westbound and holy snow the right hand lane on 84 was a mess that backed up the whole highway to Exit 67.
Complete stop and go nightmare for anyone trying to pass through never mind get off the exit to head to UConn.
Got me thinking of what would happen if a stadium was on campus and my brain melted.
I felt bad for anyone trying to make graduation ceremonies.
Other ways to get there would have been smarter.
