i go to michigan and none of my friends are buying season tickets this year. it's a combination of the crappy home schedule, a bad team, and how expensive they are. i paid 300 for student tickets and i really wish i didn't.

This seems to have nothing to do with cell phones, HDTV's and bad opponents and everything to do with the student/alumni being bled dry for money. I mean that was a huge jump in ticket prices for students. When I was at UConn, especially as a freshman, I would have been lucky to have $300 for the semester let alone to drop on 7 football games.
