Tiger's agent explains the abrupt shift in plans

5 minute video by golf analyst who says that explains his decision to postpone his return. Says he's never seen a pro golfer successfully return/recover from the yips and that Tiger was dead last on tour in his last year with his around the green pitching. He predicts that Tiger will never return to the Tour, though he hopes Tiger will try.

This is sort of what I figured when he pulled out. There is no point shooting 80-80, missing the cut badly, and embarrassing himself.

Chamblee has been bashing Tiger for years. He never interviews Tiger. He must have written a dozen articles condemning his affairs. Of course he had little to say about Dustin Johnson's drug and sex escapades with other player's wives. There are still a lot of people who never forgave Tiger or marrying a blond, blue-eyed caucasian woman.

As far as yips, they are just speculating. Tiger flubbed a couple of chips in his last attempt to play and Brandel, along with a couple other "golf journalists" declared him "done".
