They really have the worst roster in the league.
Corey Maggette and a fat Boris Diaw are their only established veterans. And if that wasn't sad enough, Maggette has been out the majority of the year.
My UConn Men's BBall therapy, however, involves destroying people on XBox Live with Kemba and the Bobcats.
Kemba's was -5, but wow.
Whats your gamertag? Ill play you.
That's pretty damn good in a game they lost by 35.
The one thing I've been noticing with Kemba that has really impressed me - well, two things, really - he isn't forcing things. His turnovers are really low. Usually no more than 1 or 2 per game. And he is shooting the ball pretty well, so he isn't forcing shots, either.
Its a crying shame he is stuck on such a disaster of a team.
Uh, he's at least as good a passer as Jeremy Lin, who seems to be doing just fine in the Knicks' system.ehh I don't think Kemba is a good enough passer to be effective in the Knick's system. I never thought Kemba was a great pick and roll PG.
having Corey Maggette actually play isn't a plus for a team. all he does is iso and then run into defenders hoping to get to the line, there isn't a player I hate more to watch attempt to play basketball than Maggette. Also, there's duckery like this:
I'm talking more recently than the whole season. From my quick looks at the box scores he's not regularly going 1-9. That's what I mean. Considering how bad Charlotte is, I have expect to see him trying to do too much, ending up shooting 25% with 5 turnovers every game. I'm impressed with his restraint under such lousy circumstances. He's shooting 37%, wouldn't really consider that shooting it well. That said, he doesn't appear to be having much trouble getting his shot off, which is a good thing. It seems to me that he's just missing shots he was hitting last year. I have seen a lot of improvements in his passing since the begginning of the season though. If he can bring those shooting percentages up to 42% I think he'll be a very good player...a 20-7-4 type guy.

ive seen kemba play twice this year and hes looked pretty good. i think he`s going to be a really really good pg...once he leaves charlotte.
