Did an interview with Rinaldi ESPN. From snippet I saw, seemed like the typical lame "I made mistakes," without much detail on what those mistakes were. I doubt he gets it, but just wants back in. And he surely will get a job. Probably within 6-18 months.

Not likely. He pulled a Todd Graham, playing one school off against the other to get UH to agree to increase his salary, and then he left anyway after pledging that he wouldn't. He not only burned his bridges with UH, he poured gasoline on the smoldering ruins.
