He dribbled once at the freethrow line. Although it look like he took 4 steps I'm not so sure it's a travel after watching it about 10 times.

Let's not let these sorts of things get in the way of a good Vine.

Hard to tell. He has speedy feet.

At first glance it looks like he's carrying the ball from the 3 point line but he did a speed dribble after catching it. Hard to tell I think he might have taken an extra step hardly more even though it looks bad. I guess it's a lesson on why traveling is one of the least called infractions in basketball.

Would need to see it from a different angle, preferably in slow motion.

He did get a shuffle in when he caught the pass maybe but that quick dribble is deceiving……..

Nice, either way.
A good bookend w/Phil's (how-many-degree?) pirouette non-travel.
Maybe like the comparison between Kemba's Pitt ankle-breaker and Boat's one-man backdoor against KY.

Nah, it wasn't a travel.

He put down one dribble before hitting the paint - it was clear as day on the replay I saw, less so on the crappy Vine video.

If he didn't put the dribble down he took 8 steps.

There is just a lot going on here. From that angle it is hard to see that he did mix a dribble in there. Whether he traveled before or after that dribble ehhhhh hard to say. Looked like he "gathered" after the catch. I mean c'mon do you really think he'd just catch the ball and take a million tiny steps on the way to the hole?

Eh, that's not as egregious as some other travels I've seen let go in the NBA.

Basketball without dribbling would be an interesting sport.

It looks like he took 8 steps. Even with a dribble that's too many. Are my eyes playing tricks on me?

If you're dribbling you can take as many steps as you like, you can however only take two steps before the ball leaves your hand to start the dribble and of course only two steps after you stop dribbling.
