The Veteran's – Lest We Forget!!

I hope many a parent can bring a child to a parade and ceremony. A simple lesson that would never be the same from a classroom.

When everyone is at their cookouts please take a minute and remember the sacrifices that were made by the brave men and woman that have served in protecting the freedom of our great country, "All gave some, some gave all".

Thank a vet everyday but please remember that today, Monday, is the day to remember those who gave all laying down even their life in service of country.

With the large military population (active, retired career and veterans) here in Tucson, there is a lot of thanking. In fact the Gaslight Theater that we frequent, as part of their regular shows, always invite active and former military and first responders to stand and be recognized.

I saw a sign for Memorial Day services at a local cemetery that has a section for vets.
