19. "Schaeffer is the one beer to have when you're having more than one." I still remember the jingle. I think I have the words right.

19. Others have noted Schaeffer. I just wanted to cast a vote for their having one of
the great advertising jingles of all time (yes rbny1, you have the words right). If
Don Draper thought that up he deserves a bonus. ;)

Years ago, when I was growing up, our family belonged to the First Methodist Church in Hartford. I still remember the minister, who was anti-alcohol, building an entire sermon around the Schaeffer ad. He was astonished that anyone would want to have more than one and called out Schaeffer for thinking otherwise.

23 - Well, Victoria was House of Saxe-Coburg Gotha, if I recall correctly, so Gamecock's recollection it was prompted by WWI would suggest the King during WWI, George V.

24. Garry Moore, I agree with the majority. Watched it in my youth. I've Got a Secret, What's My Line and To Tell the Truth - all variations to some degree on a theme.

14..Who do you know who's a more stalwart supporter of the deadly sins than is Pinot?

15..Still reading is K9, though only the titles.

16..You COULD sit in your car, Game, at a music festival. Luckily 5 others tell you what's what.

17..Only one of you is spot on. Still, someone tell SVC it is more relevant to wrestle with contemporary problems.

18..Pinot, K9 & rocket let the folkies be where they want to be from.

19..Rbny leads a 6-pack in defrocking his pastor.

20..Just SVC here...Like Rumpole before him, his missus is," She who must be obeyed". His preference is the GLOW series, but he doesn't control the remote.

21..Always trust K9 on all things Italian.

22..Who reads this weeks news? Apparently only Game.

23..Rocket's got it. Then Game pegs it to WWI. Many of the royals were going by German names, and George the 5th was having no more of that.

24..We've got a bucketload of you fingering Garry Moore.

25..John Neumann...
several Catholic education organizations have "Neumann Clubs".

And we are all finished.
