14..One Euro nation(?) 16 years ago decriminalized ALL controlled substances up to a 10 day supply.

15..Gun silencer or __________.

16..Which Prez OKs pensions for ex-Prezzes and widows?

17..In 1815 what country gains independence from Brazil?

18..What famous author went by "Boz" in serial stories?

19..Kenny _______ and Straits of_______.

20..Within 5 years when did we get the National Park Service?

21..Considered a sort of sequel to the Iliad/Odyssey?

22..The 2 other killer whales?

23..Sir Francis Beaufort and Matthew Maury were 2 early..?

24..How could we see the Ozark Mountain Daredevils and Dionne Warwick as having divergent views
of the afterlife?

25..Rial, dong & kip.

You had nothing planned this weekend, right?

14. Netherlands (Holland)?
15. Supressor
20. 1910?
21. Aeneid, is that what you are looking for?
22. Scientists - or specific to atmospheric scientists/oceanographers?
and rbny1 already hit on 18.

17 - Uruguay
19 - Loggins and Messina (sp?)

#19 is the only non-guess among my 4 offerings.

16. Eisenhower, I think
23. Well the Beaufort scale was named after Sir Francis. Meteorologists??

18. Carlos Dickens

21. The Aenid
22..The 2 other killer whales?

24. Don't know about Diane, but the OMD say "You've got to raise a little Hell". One of my favorite groups, especially "Chicken Train" and "Standin on a Rock".

25..kipchong, mebbe? or keno?

21. Aeneid, actually. I can spell, I just can't type.

15..Suppressor

16..Nixon?

18..Scaggs Dickens

21..Virgil's Aeneid (I love it when the ol' high-school Latin pays off)

23..Sir Francis Beaufort and Matthew Maury were 2 early to be on the Weather Channel

25..I know the Rial is currency, so I'll guess they all are.

Now that you mention it, so is the Dong, so you probably got it.
Unfortunately, I've got it, but I don't. I've been around long enough to know that wire chief isn't giving partial credit -- he's looking for the countries and other than the Rial, I am stumped.

Vietnam for the Dong but no clue for the 'kip' and I never remember which countries use 'rial' vs. 'real' vs 'riel'

14..Make your reservations for Portugal, but don't try to smuggle in your used hookahs.

15..Suppressor is a more accurate term, as the tool does not silence a shot. UcM and Fair.

16..I LIKE...Geordi.

17..Knight is right about Uruguay.

18..Rbny & geordi beat the Dickens out of the other posters. Did you notice how Fair tries to turn the renowned author into a 2nd rate singer?

19..Knight captures Loggins and Messina.

20..UcM is close enough(1916); the rest of you need to pay more attention to stuff connected to the Great Outdoors.

21..Yes, the Aeneid is the Latin travelogue; Knight CAN spell, but his Latin is awful. Fair pretends he knows how to do
amo, amas amat. And UcM needs reassurance.

22..False killer whale, Dwarf killer whale

23..Early meteorologists, once laughed at that weather could be predicted. UcM & geordi.

24..Dionne said, "You'll Never Get To Heaven, If You Break My Heart". Kinda quaint today, no?

25..That Fair, always maligning me (actually it's a LOL). I care nothing about their countries, for I ain't going there.

Anyway, we in fizzled-out Ericaland salute your efforts.
