Hopefully in small doses. Side effects in larger doses include buffalo hump, weight gain, diabetes, cataracts, stomach issues, etc. and all the side effects of those issues. It would otherwise be considered a miracle drug; in some ways it is in spite of it all. My wife went from bedridden to able to walk around the house in 2 days at 60 mg. Unfortunately it took 5 years for doctors to take her completely off.
