15. Neil Young's Southern Man was not too complimentary of southern men. SHA has a line that says something to the effect, "a southern man don't need him around anyhow." Certainly not a direct quote but the best I can recall at my age.

23 - Sir Walter Scott - my aunt (for reasons known only to her) gave me an 1899 library edition of his work, and I actually read a fair number of the novels as I was growing up. Some were quite entertaining.

17..Zorro, why stop there? The whole quote goes, "I think; therefore I
am, I think I am, I said, and no one heard at all, not even the chair."

No, el Gris was quoting from the Moody Blues. Question of Balance, perhaps?

On edit: Nope. "In the beginning" from "On the Threshold of a Dream"

17. Descartes. Which eliminates half the worlds population.

14..Ed4 is our master of poetic beginnings--1788.

15..JR, Storm & Meyers correctly point to Neil Young. Neil had another tune called simply "Alabama" in which he offered, "Alabam, you've got
the rest of the Union to help you along. What's goin' wrong?"

16..The amazing ed4 does math in 3 languages and comes up with 18.

17..You can tell by question 5, I put De Horse before Decartes.

18..TBS

19..Storm is on target with McCloud, McMillan & Wife.
(Who was that lovely Wife anyway?)

20..Proton works--the zorro quartet.

21..Think of "Our Gang".

22..The Parthenon Marbles, also known as..?

23..Sir Walter Scott, brought to you by the Knights Foursome.

24..They are Anita, June & Bonnie, and due to Storm &
zorro, we got 2 of them anyway.

25..A WWI tale, mentioned by ed4: JR in the wrong war.

Be so kind as to attend to 21 & 22.
