This seems a good time to ask if anyone remembers a wonderful Watergate song that was recorded by 2 Yalies in 1973. The chorus went

Gordon, Gordon Battle Lid.
We're so proud, so proud of what you did.
You blew the cover off the plumbers
Gave us day time TV for the summer
We're so proud of what you did.

I think the first verse went

Hunt asked Gordon Liddy
Don't you think it's pretty risky if we implement your plan?
Gordon turned to Howard
Said "Don't be a coward.
I asked John and John says that it's grand."
John told Gordon "I dont think we can afford it.
But it's grand even though it's kind of wild.
We'll skip the traveling whorehouse.
Keep the listening doormouse.
Dick will love it
I'm sure it's just his style.

Apparently there were only 500 records sold. A friend of mine bought one and played it for me
several times. Not only does she no longer have the record, she doesn't even remember having it. It was easily the best Watergate song I ever heard. I have never met anyone who remembers hearing the record except for me. I can remember some of the other verses but not everything. Anyone out there remember it?

14..It seems more historically important to mention the Great Barrier Reef discovery than it does his death. Geordi.

15..Poalo with English Channel.

16..Pinot, geordi & K9 with Liddy, the Watergate guy.

17..Coffee...the Rocketellers complained, and then the jingle became,"A millionaire's money can't buy".

18..VTC & Poalo with Cyrus McCormack, who threshed.

19..Five, say Ed4 & Poalo, a measurement of chess piece strength.

20..Haven't heard from Chap in a while, but she writes the truth--silk.

21..Loads of you with "Who".

22..Chap again with Pa, Md & WV.

23..Like geordi says, 1st interracial kiss, well, at least in the pictures. That's the memorable part.

24..Like me, K9 has probably listened to Natalie Merchant do Carnival a whole lot.

25..Chap, our Pa. expert this round, is complete with Bloomsburg & Altoona
