15. Reed is the former head of the Christian Coalition, a powerful political group, who fell from power in the Abramoff scandal. He is resurgent with a new group, the Faith and Freedom Coalition, and is supporting Romney. (This just proves again, Wire chief, that you read the NY Times and I read the NY Times and I can answer your questions taken from articles in the Times.)

14..You may have been misled by the word "portrait". He is the author of THE COUNT OF MONTE CHRISTO.

15..See rbny...who made me laugh.

16..Good job, geordi!--The Riddler on the Roof.

17..Desiring (a Baroque hymn)--Reverend Kibitzer & Monsignor Meyers.

18..Collectively you have given me an overdose of aspirin.

19..Geordi has Fiji (For some reason the International Date Line goes right through another of Fiji's islands, so one can
actually stand in 2 days simultaneously...that is, if you have a mind to.

20..Well, VTC, since you can never leave, you may as well want to stay. Best has Old Cape Cod, Patti Page, I think.

21..Geordi is correct with THE CHRYSANTHEMUM AND THE SWORD. She tells us of the 2 paradoxical aspects of the culture.

22..Best is most explanatory. High acid of tomatoes caused lead to leach out of their pewter plates. This wasn't realized for 400 years.

23..Geordi on target with Camay.

24..Best & VTC. Flushing toilets all at once would clear the sewerage pipes.

25..Best is up on Guinness records.

Twenty-two of 25 is a fine score...and I know none of you stayed up all night cramming.

18. I think most people who take Aspirin for cardiac reasons only take 81 mg per day.

2 X 81 = 162 as in "take two aspirins and call me in the morning."

Again, for the sake of accuracy, most people who take aspirin daily for heart health take one 81 mg aspirin a day. I work as a pre-op nurse at a surgical hospital and obtain medication lists from about 20 to 40 patients a day and have been doing this for quite some time. 99% of the people who take aspirin daily for heart health only take 81 mg per day.

I suppose my doc could be alone, but judging by other comments, he isn't quite. I have run into regional differences in the practice of medicine. Could this be an example. I certainly can't say myself if one or two of the little critters protects best.
